Picked up by multiple creative publications, Sangra’s spot, Everything Looks Better in Eyewear, made quite the stir. And it’s not surprising given that it contains plenty of Sangra’s trademark jest.
The spot suggests that sunnies are the perfect accessory for completing mundane tasks, while promoting the new eyewear hall at luxury department store Selfridges.
What’s most impressive is just how much freedom Sangra was given on the job. Handed an empty brief, he was asked to write and direct the spot as well as provide the campaign’s stills.
And of course, his mastery over the genre of satire doesn’t disappoint.
